R-Patz Wants a Soumate???

Robert Pattinson is looking for a soul mate. The British actor – who recently blasted speculation about his love life, insisting he’s single – says he’d love to find the perfect partner he can spend the rest of his life with. He reveals, “I hope there is such a thing. “I guess it would be quite scary to find a soul mate when you’re young because you’re probably going to mess it up.”

“I remember there was a girl I was totally obsessed with for about 10 years,” he adds. “I never ever spoke to her. I think that’s the best type of love.

“Then when I finally told her she was like, ‘You’ve never spoken to me in my whole life. You’ve only spoken to me about three times and never said anything nice’.”

Taylor Lautner took over Walmart’s BlogTalkRadio yesterday to talk to his fans about all things Twilight.

The 17-year-old martial arts expert shared that he sees “Breaking Dawn”, the fourth book in the series, being made into another blockbuster film. He dished to E! during the broadcast, saying, “Now that I’ve seen this kind of passion and dedication in the fans, I wouldn’t see a reason ["Breaking Dawn"] wouldn’t happen.”

Taylor also knows that he wouldn’t be anywhere he is without the fans. He said, “I’m getting a little nervous. But I’m so thankful for the fans and even those Robert Pattinson/Edward fans. I know we wouldn’t…be here filming New Moon and [then] filming Eclipse if it wasn’t for them.”

Pattinson Dishes Dirt on New Moon

Robert Pattinson’s Twilight character is going “darker” in the upcoming sequel New Moon.

The British actor – who made his Oscar debut Sunday, presenting a montage of the year’s romantic films alongside Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried – plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movies based on the novels by author Stephenie Meyer.

Speaking on the red carpet at yesterday’s Academy Awards, Pattinson, 22, dished on his post-Oscar plans: “This is my last night of light. I go up to Canada soon [to shoot New Moon]. And my character goes 50 times darker then it did in the first movie.”

Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart also reprise their roles as Bella Swan and Jacob Black, respectively, in New Moon.

Pattinson can soon be seen starring as Spanish painter Salvador Dali in the upcoming indie drama Little Ashes.

Robert Pattinson says he might record an album. The British actor – who shot to fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in the recent Twilight movie – wants to make a record without the help of a label. He reveals, “I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I’d like to do something independent.

“I don’t care if people buy it or not. I’d just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff.

“All my friends are musicians in London. They’re very talented. My best friend wrote one of the songs on the soundtrack with another friend of mine, this guy Marcus Foster who did Bobby Long.

“I went to school with Marcus. He taught me how to play guitar and stuff. He’s an amazing writer and singer and I thought to help somebody out. I’ve got nothing to lose.”

Robert Pattinson says he “tried” to do some of his own stunts for Twilight.

The British actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the film – admits he attempted to get in on some of the action while filming, but ended up getting hit by a car.

Robert – who reprises his role as Cullen in Twilight sequel New Moon later this year – reveals, “I tried to do some of my own stunts. Some of them were pretty extreme and also my stunt double looks exactly like me.

“The scariest one was when I run and I put my hand out to stop this car which is racing towards me. I had practiced it a bunch of times but the car is like coming at 30 miles per hour. And I was sick on the day of shooting. I had taken antibiotics and I was really dozy and the car went off its tracks.

“So there I am, holding Kristen Stewart’s stunt double and my timing was off because I wasn’t feeling too good and the car like hit me in the face. Then I dropped her and I couldn’t stop laughing.”

“I didn’t have any injuries,” Pattinson adds, “but Kristen’s double could barely walk for a like a month. I felt so bad!!”

Baby V Twilight “No-Go”

Sorry, Vanessa Hudgens fans; the 20-year-old High School Musical actress most likely won’t be sinking her teeth into the Twilight sequel, New Moon.

Despite earlier reports that Hudgens had auditioned for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater, the screenwriter for both flicks says that it’s extremely unlikely.

“I’m not sure about [final] casting but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told People magazine at Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday. “But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn’t happen until the third movie.”

On the plus side, this frees up Hudgie Bear to pursue other film projects that might be of interest to the public.

Rosenberg further revealed that Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the Twilight-ers are already in Canada preparing for the New Moon shoot, which is due to begin  next month.

“I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back,” Rosenberg says. “They’re on set right now, in Vancouver! They’re all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon.”

Wow, talk about dedication! But then, for the kind of cash that the young actors are suddenly pulling in for each Twilight flick, a little bit of devotion is warranted.
